The Healing Begins
Bjorke had slept deeply while Edrick was gone. So deeply that Silvas had to check to see if she was breathing several times. But the moment he returned, Bjorke awoke.
“Eskor…” Her eyes opened and she searched for his face.
“I am here, Bjorke.” Silvas brought a fresh bowl of warm water, and a clean cloth, then cast another wave of healing energy over her, before slipping quietly out. Edrick helped her sit up, bathing her, and helping her into clean clothes. Bjorke protested the entire time, saying she was fine, she could manage, but Edrick merely chuckled at her. “I am sure you could, my beloved.
